Odalys City Rennes Lorgeril

On arrival the staff were super efficient with 24/7 check in. We arrived early and were able to park our car in the secure underground car park. The location is great, a leisurely shady stroll passing many cafes and bars before reaching the old city. On return the air-conditioning was most welcome in the extreme heat. We only stayed one night , but the rooms are well equipped for longer stays . Mini - kitchen area , clothes airer and best of all a retracting washing line in the shower . Really impressed - it was the most budget friendly of our tour and was the only one that ticked all the boxes

The room and bathroom were spacious, there is ample storage space, two wardrobes and a safe (which is free to use) is in one wardrobe, there is even a hidden mini kitchen area. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was it has parking and for €10 it’s well worth it for peace of mind if you’ve got a car full of fishing gear, make sure you request parking when you book though. It’s in a great location, a nice bar called La Piste is at the end of the road but as you walk into the centre, which takes about 10 minutes, you pass many other cafes and bars. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night but you could definitely stay for longer.

Centrally located but when the window was open, neighbourhood restaurants were full and loud. It's high season so that was to be expected. Window closed, it was quiet.

This was a very convenient location, and I was glad there was still one parking space in the road outside. The receptionist was a little cool, but as I’d been to the hotel before I knew where to do shopping for food.

Lovely sized room with a tiny but perfect kitchen and massive bathroom.
